Install

1. File Upload

Download the latest version of Multishare from the Project Phil website.

1. Download and extract the zip file to your computer.
2. Upload the Multishare folder to your server.

For example:

/home/Multishare

The application entry point should be located at:

/home/Multishare/index.js

2. Configure Multishare

Before starting Multi Share, configure the config.js file.

Open the configuration file:

nano /home/Multishare/config.js

Fill in all required configuration values and save the file.

3. Install Multishare

Change to the Multishare directory:

cd /home/Multishare

Install the required Node.js packages:

npm install

Once the installation has completed, initialise the database:

npm run db

Wait for the database setup to complete successfully before continuing.

4. Start Multishare

We recommend using a Screen Session so the application continues running after the terminal is closed.

Start Multishare:

node .
